Philanthropic Support

We partner with organisations through philanthropic support and employee volunteering to create meaningful opportunities and lasting impact for our learners.

Overview

We are always looking for organisations that share our commitment to creating brighter futures for young people. Together, we are committed to harnessing the transformative power of technology as a catalyst for positive social mobility and our collaboration with industry allows us to offer real-world opportunities, industry insight and a unique learning experience for all of our learners.

There are many ways to partner with us. Whether through philanthropic support, employee volunteering, fundraising campaigns and challenge events or gifts in kind, your organisation can play a vital role in helping more young people develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed. Your support enables us to expand our employability programmes and short courses, reach more learners, and develop innovative ways to create lasting impact.

We are grateful for the support of corporates, trusts, foundations and philanthropists.

Philanthropic Support

We welcome pro bono expertise and in-kind contributions that strengthen our programmes and enrich the experience of our learners and alumni community. Together, we can create meaningful opportunities for young people while engaging your employees in a shared purpose that delivers real social impact.

Volunteering

We believe that real-world experience is essential to nurturing the next generation of diverse digital talent. That is why we offer a wide range of employee volunteering opportunities that deliver real value. Whether it’s collaborating with us to deliver a workplace visit, sharing your career journey during an assembly, or helping us facilitate a mock assessment centre, your volunteering contribution will make a difference!

Ada’s Coaching Programme

The programme aims to support student progression by giving students the opportunity to explore the different choices available to them post Ada with their coach.

This will include a transfer of skills and knowledge about relevant industries and career opportunities, and support to develop soft skills such as communication, planning, decision making, self awareness and time management.

Why partner with us

We offer companies a powerful way to align their Corporate Social Responsibility goals, helping to unlock opportunities for talented young people from minoritised backgrounds and to access early talent for their own recruitment programmes.

Ada changed my life! I went to the sixth form college and have now just started my Degree Apprenticeship with JustEat. The lecturers’ support has been amazing and the industry volunteers help us to get job-ready. I feel lucky that I came across Ada and for the unique path into a tech career it has provided me.

Bank of America

Bank of America is a founding partner of Ada, having provided nearly £1 million in donations over the duration of the partnership. They are training apprentices through Ada’s Apprenticeship programme, provide a huge number of employee volunteers to support our learners directly, and run an annual Industry Project. The partnership was instrumental in Ada being awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise application in 2023.

King

King has been a founding partner since 2016, providing significant annual unrestricted donations totaling over £700,000. The partnership focuses on supporting young women in tech and engaging female students, aligning with King’s ED&I and Sustainability vision. Key activities include “Careers in Tech with King” events and an industry project where over 100 learners worked with King volunteers to develop their own game.  King volunteers also support Ada Skills sessions and have hosted Year 13 graduations.
