The Ada Coaching Programme aims to support Ada students through Sixth form, by sharing real-world industry knowledge, career journeys, development of soft skills and boosting students’ confidence and professional networks so they feel like they belong and can thrive in the digital sector.
This will include a transfer of skills and knowledge about relevant industries and career opportunities, and support to develop soft skills such as communication, planning, decision making, self awareness and time management.
It is an incredibly rewarding experience for both the student and the coaches.
At Ada, the National College for Digital Skills, our mission is to educate and empower the next generation of diverse digital talent. We are a specialist Further Education college and charity, where every 16-19 student takes Computer Science. By creating a student-led learning environment, encouraging those who may have not always flourished in mainstream education, we seek to remove the barriers of entry to the tech sector for women, ethnic minorities and individuals from low-income backgrounds, ensuring they have the skills and education to access fulfilling employment.
