Prior to joining Ada, Anand worked within Academia as a lecturer for 5 years. He has a PhD in Computer Science and has 10 years of Post-doctoral experience which involved working on European Union funded Research and Development projects in the area of large scale evacuation modelling. Anand was a key member in the software development tasks of three EU projects Framework 7 IDIRA (2011-15), Horizon 2020 GEO-SAFE (2016-20) and Horizon 2020 INPREP (2017-21). Additionally, in the GEO-SAFE project he had a key role in the project coordination duties. Anand has written 11 journal and conference papers, 4 papers as first author and 7 as a co-author.
