Ryan completed a degree in Geography with the University of Wales before applying this to analyse the ecological impact of the diving industry in Thailand before entering a career in education.  He has a particular interest in the use of technology to process spatial data through the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Ryan completed a PGCE at Goldsmith's University before holding a variety of roles in schools across London, including working for the central school improvement team for a large MAT. As a result of this experience, Ryan decided to focus on pastoral provision and has been a Head of Sixth Form and Designated Safeguarding Lead within secondary schools and colleges and is currently completing an MA in Psychology.
