One massive shoutout goes to the incredible success of T Level student, Resul Tota. Resul achieved a Distinction* on his T Level, potentially one of the very few awarded nationally (DfE preliminary published figures suggest it may be the only one!), and equivalent to an A*A*A* at A Level.
How did Resul secure his Distinction*? Through sheer determination and a relentless drive to improve. Here’s what he had to say about his journey:
After achieving an overall A in my Core Modules in my first year (A* in ESP and B in Core Papers), some may think I’m crazy for doing this, but I chose to retake my Core Papers this summer alongside working hard on my OSP.
Through resilience, determination, and perseverance, I achieved an A in my Core Papers retake, bringing my overall Core Modules grade up to an A*, while also achieving a Distinction in my OSP. Alongside this, I have also achieved an A in Core Mathematics!”
Resul’s phenomenal achievement is part of an outstanding year for our T Level students. Out of our cohort of 17, an impressive seven students have secured degree apprenticeships with huge tech companies, including six placements with Amazon!
