What is your biggest goal right now?

My biggest goal right now is probably to stay on top of my work, gain as much work experience as possible through industry placements, and not fall behind.

I have a bit of work experience coming up this summer. I’ve got three weeks of work experience with In2scienceUK, SMBP, and Capgemini, and I got work experience at Cisco too! My biggest goal right now is to hopefully get an Amazon placement later this year in November.
Is there anything you’re nervous about?
November 2025
I would say I’m struggling a bit with my work, just staying on top of it, like time management and stuff.

Even now, I’m not on top of my work. There’s so much I have to do. Right now, what I’m most nervous about is hearing back from Amazon next week.
What’s your dream job?

My dream job is probably a software engineer at one of the top tech firms, where I just work on big projects, big games, and stuff like that.

It still is. I’m thinking of solutions architect a little bit too.
What would future you say to you right now?
November 2025
Stop sleeping late and start doing my work earlier! With GCSEs, you don’t even have to worry about it because everything will be fine eventually. Just try to stay on top of what you can and don’t worry about the stuff that you can’t control.

I feel like I need to sort out my sleep! I stayed up all night for my Amazon application. Near the start of the year I was good and on time, but slowly that got shaken up. Future me would say don’t slip up, stay focused, and get back onto track again.
What are you most proud of since the last interview?

I made an AI chatbot from scratch. I’m basically done with it. Normally with Python, I do the simple stuff like loops, but now I’m actually connecting different Python files together and seeing Python working in real time.
What’s your next step looking ahead at the start of Year 13?

Just do the most I can at Ada, because obviously that’s going to be my last year. I don’t want to just come to Ada and then leave, I want to at least do something that I know I can hold with me forever. I want to do more with content creation and more of the T-level placement. I want to make my mark on Ada and make something here that I can carry with me forever.
