A huge thank you goes out to our guest speaker, Katherine Phillips from Just Eat Takeaway.com, who kicked off the ceremony with an inspiring speech. She left our students with a powerful piece of advice as they step into the tech industry:
Failure is only expensive if you refuse to learn from it.
The rest of the event was hosted entirely by our brilliant Student Voice team, who brought so much energy and fun to the day. They handed out awards celebrating Ada values and standout student achievements, including the highly coveted “LinkedIn Warrior” award, which went to our very own Student Voice President. They even made sure the staff didn’t miss out on the fun, handing out some hilarious teacher awards, including a very special shoutout to the winner of “Teacher Yap-A-Lot”!
To all of our Year 13 graduates, we are incredibly proud of you. You have shown determination and perseverance through the stressful exam period and across your entire two years with us. Remember, graduation isn’t goodbye. You are now officially part of our Alumni Network, and we cannot wait to see where your digital careers take you next. We hope to welcome you back to Ada for talks and panels in the future!
