FAQS
What qualifications can I study at Ada?
Students can take A-levels, or T Levels, in subjects carefully selected to align with a wide variety of jobs in the tech industry.
Each pathway combines technical computer science study with creative or analytical subjects to prepare you for university or a tech degree apprenticeship.
What are the entry requirements?
All pathways require a minimum of five GCSEs (average grade 5 or above).
Specific subjects (like Maths or Computing) have higher grade requirements depending on the pathway. You can find these in the prospectus and on the pathway pages.
Do students get work experience?
Yes!
Every Ada student takes part in industry projects, with some of these awarding the best performing students with additional work experience opportunities such as BofA etc.
Some of our industry partners also offer work experience opportunities our learners have to apply for.
At the end of Year 12, we endeavour to offer curated summer work experience opportunities for our learners with our industry partners. These opportunities fall in the summer holidays and can last for up to two weeks. In the past, our learners have profited from work experience at, amongst others, Youview, Digital Catapult, Genesis Global, Bank of America and Hoja.
