Entry requirements

Our standard entry requirements are that students have achieved an average grade of a 5 or above in their GCSEs, including at least a 4 in English Language and Maths. Certain courses also have their own specific entry requirements.

We understand that sometimes circumstances mean that students who have the potential to succeed at Ada might not meet our standard entry requirements. At the Principal’s discretion, we may be able to accept students who are in this position and we encourage you to make an application if you feel this is the case.

Additional information

Predicted grades and attendance

To complete their application, students are required to provide a copy of their most recent school report, including a set of predicted GCSE grades and attendance percentage.
It must be clear that it has been supplied by their school (for example, printed on headed paper). You will receive an email with a link where you can upload a digital copy of this document.

Additional Support form

The Additional Support form is mandatory. It is designed for applicants to inform us of any additional support they may need when studying at Ada.

Please note that this won’t be used as part of our decision-making process. However, we may contact the applicant’s current school to ask for additional details, but only if we decide to make them an offer to join our sixth form.
