What schools say
“Ada has been an invaluable partner in developing and enriching our school’s careers programme. The range of activities offered support us to achieve the Gatsby Benchmarks in a meaningful way.
Régina, in particular, has been incredibly flexible and proactive and contributed greatly to equipping our students with the skills and knowledge to make decisions about their post-16 options.
Our students consistently share that they have enjoyed the interactive sessions, whether in our school or at Ada, and that it has broadened their understanding of the digital sector and made them feel optimistic about their future.
Thank you, I am looking forward to developing our partnership with Ada and would encourage other careers leaders to get in touch.”
Celine Nembhard, Careers and Enrichment Lead, Deptford Green School
Y10 students say:
“I learnt that there aren’t enough women in the computer science related fields”
“I learnt that there many pathways into tech and you don’t have to be good at coding to work in tech”
“One thing I learnt is about the T-levels and how it is equivalent to multiple A-levels”
“I learnt about the different grades you need to get into the college”
“I went straight home and told my mum that is where I want to study! She was a bit worried because it seems far away, but I told her the journey was fine and it is a nice area. She said that if that is what I want and I found what I like then she will support me. We will visit together in Y11 so she can see. I am so excited about going there now.”
