We are looking for a Senior Administrator and Office Manager who is inspired by Ada’s mission and keen to work with and support our community of apprentices to become the next generation of technical talent in some of the UK’s most prestigious organisations.

We are a specialist digital skills college with deep industry relationships. Our mission is to support young people with an interest in tech into fantastic roles in the sector, transforming their lives in the process. We have a significant focus on recruiting those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to promote positive social mobility, and young women, to address the gender disparity in the sector.

From a standing start in May 2017, we have grown rapidly to work with 33 blue-chip companies such as Deloitte, Expedia and Salesforce. We now have over 230 apprentices on roll across our three higher-level digital apprenticeship programmes: Software Developer, Data Analyst and IT Consultant. 33% of our apprentices are young women, 33% are BAME and 25% come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

You will play a vital role in co-ordinating the running of the programmes on a daily basis initially in our dedicated training space in Whitechapel. You will liaise with the different teams and ensure communications and the flow of information to all stakeholders is efficient and timely and that the learning environment is well-maintained.

In the next three years, you will help support, plan and implement the transition to larger state-of-the-art facilities, launch new programmes, on-board increased volumes of colleagues and apprentices and ensure efficient collaboration with our Manchester apprenticeship pilot (opening in Autumn 2020).

Purpose of the Role:

We seek a well-qualified and experienced Senior Administrator to support with the efficient day-today running of our fast growing apprenticeship programmes. The salary for the role is between £24,000 and £30,000 dependent on relevant experience and qualifications.

The role is vital in ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of our programmes which have multiple stakeholders. You will have to think on your feet and use initiative in a fast moving and demanding environment. In addition to overseeing scheduled work, there are daily, weekly, termly and annual routines to adhere to.

This opportunity requires a proactive, highly organised and committed individual, capable of organising and supervising all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of multiple fast-growing programmes and a dynamic learning environment.
