On 12 October, the team from Corten Capital kicked things off by completing the Royal Parks Half Marathon, a stunning 13.1-mile route winding through four of London’s eight Royal Parks and past many of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
Our Ada team was there to cheer them on from the sidelines, celebrating every stride of their journey! The team has raised over £6,000 in support of Ada’s mission, an incredible achievement that’ll directly help us create more opportunities for future talent in tech.
The running spirit then continued on 18th October, with the Just Eat Takeaway team running the Battersea Half Marathon, a fast, flat course starting at the Millennium Arena and looping around Battersea Park 11 times before finishing on the Athletics track.
Among the runners was Ada alumni Robbie Mint, who shared his thoughts on the Half Marathon in a recent sit down interview, found here!
We’re incredibly grateful to our partners for their enthusiasm and commitment to our mission: delivering transformative tech education to individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Events like these are about so much more than fundraising, they reflect the shared belief that together, we can shape a more inclusive, future-ready tech workforce.
Beyond fundraising, our partnerships also include:
- Apprenticeships and T Level placements
- Work experience opportunities
- Workshops, events and industry mentoring
