Junayd Fetuga
- Introduction: My name is Junayd Fetuga. Today is the 4th of November and I study maths and further maths here at Ada.
- What’s your biggest goal right now? I don’t know if I’d say that I have a specific goal, but I want to become proficient at the things I do. So, I want to be able to code well, and I want to be able to answer math questions faster than I can now.
- Is there anything you’re nervous about or struggling with at the moment? There’s a lot of homework for the maths. I have to make time for that and I can’t do some things that I’d want to do because I’ve got so much homework.
- What’s your dream job right now? I’d want to maybe be a data analyst. And if I couldn’t do that, then I’d want to do software development. Data analyst’s are always at the top of the field because you’re always checking what other people are doing. Software development, for being able to just create things that never existed before.
- What do you think future you might say to you right now? He’s going to say I’m not doing what I should be doing. That’s what I say about the past me already.
- What would you say to your past self? I’d say that he could have done more, but if I actually had to speak to my past self, I wouldn’t tell him anything as I’d want him to go on the same route to become who I am right now.
- What are you most looking forward to at Ada and what do you hope to achieve at the end of your two years? I want to have gotten a degree apprenticeship because those seem like a big thing and that’s part of the route they’ve set out for you.
Oyku Kirec
- Introduction: My name is Oyku Kirec, I picked the business pathway as my A-level choice and today’s date is the 5th of November 2025.
- What’s your biggest goal right now? My biggest goal is to finish my coursework and get a distinction in it, and also learn a programming language so I can make my coursework easier for me.
- Is there anything you’re nervous about or struggling with at the moment? Finishing my coursework. Yeah, it’s a bit stressful and overwhelming.
- What’s your dream job right now? My dream job right now is to be a project manager in a tech company.
- What do you think future you might say to you right now? My future me would probably say keep going. Everything’s going to be worth it and you’re going to be successful in the end.
- What would you say to your past self? I’d say to my past self, don’t give up even if it gets really hard, because in the end you do pass everything and you’re in Ada right now, so it’ll be good.
- What are you most looking forward to at Ada and what do you hope to achieve at the end of your two years? I would hope to develop my personal skills significantly. I hope I get to a level where I’m very advanced.
Alexandra Banciu
- Introduction: My name is Alexandra. I study psychology. It is the 5th of November today.
- What’s your biggest goal right now? My biggest goal right now is to complete my coursework and just try to get to know as many people as possible.
- Is there anything you are nervous about or struggling with at the moment? I’m nervous about exams obviously and what’s to come in the future.
- What is your dream job? My dream job right now is somewhere in the field of cyber security or artificial intelligence.
- What do you think your future self might say to you right now? I think my future self would be proud of me, hopefully, and I think she’ll just tell me to keep going.
- What would you say to your past self? I would say to just keep going and don’t give up on your GCSEs even though it was really stressful.
- What are you most looking forward to at Ada and what do you hope to achieve at the end of your two years? I’m hoping to achieve the grades that I want obviously, but I also want to gain experience and connections.
Mamon Maihanwal
- Introduction: My name is Mamon. It’s the 6th of November 2025. I’m studying the Innovator course at Ada.
- What’s your biggest goal right now? At this moment in time, I’m just trying to do my best in the course I’m in. So, in the future, hopefully I can secure a degree apprenticeship with a successful corporation.
- Is there anything you’re nervous about or struggling with at the moment? The work is quite heavy but with successful planning I was able to manage.
- What’s your dream job? Well, I was looking into being a salesman and an analyst or go into consulting.
- What do you think future you might say to you right now? Um, I think it would just motivate me to keep trying, keep doing my best.
- What would you say to your past self? To my past self, I would have given him more knowledge, more advice that would help him throughout his years.
- What are you most looking forward to at Ada and what do you hope to achieve at the end of your two years? What I look most forward to over the next couple of months is meeting industry professionals and meeting with very experienced employees and employers. Hopefully get the best possible qualification I can get out of my course and secure a good placement with an employer.
Rajan Mahil
- Introduction: Today is the 6th of November. I’ve been at Ada for two months and my name is Rajan Mahil. I’m studying BTEC Computing and A level Maths.
- What is your biggest goal right now? Right now my biggest goal is just to settle in with the school, make some new friends and get on track with my course.
- Is there anything you are nervous about or currently struggling with? The workload is pretty pretty big. It’s a big jump from GCSE, but that is to be expected and I just need to push forward with it.
- What is your dream job right now? Right now, my dream job is anything I can secure with a large tech firm that really works close with security or gaming.
- What do you think your future self might say to you, you know? Probably just keep on top of my workload, and manage my time well.
- What would you say to your past self? Probably the same thing to be honest.
- What are you most looking forward to at Ada and what do you hope to achieve at the end of your two years? I’m most looking forward to the experiences with industry professionals and the projects we can do there. And at the end of my two years, I hope to score an apprenticeship with a big company.
Lameesah Dar
- Introduction: Hi, my name is Lameesah Dar and today is the 6th of November 2025. I am currently studying Graphics.
- What is your biggest goal right now? I think my biggest goal right now is to get the best scores I can, good grades and keep track of my work that is given to me.
- Is there anything you are nervous about or struggling with at the moment? I think what I’m nervous about is the amount of homework that’s given, the limited time that’s also given as well and just submitting it on time.
- What is your dream job right now? I think I would like to work in a games industry and just work on designing games and weapons or characters.
- What do you think future you might say to you right now? I think future me would tell me to not worry so much about the workload and just get through it and remember that I have help as well.
- What would you say to your past self? Just solely focus on your studies and revision.
- What are you most looking forward to at Ada and what do you hope to achieve at the end of your two years? I hope to achieve good grades and do the best in my graphics A level. Learn new skills and just improve in my design and work.
Rejoice Chitou
- Introduction: My name is Rejoice. It’s the 6th of November. I’m currently studying T Level at Ada and I’ve been here for around two months.
- What’s your biggest goal right now? My biggest goal right now is probably to stay on top of my work, you know, gain as much work experience as possible, industry placements, and not fall behind.
- Is there anything you are nervous about or struggling with at the moment? I would say I’m struggling a bit with my work, staying on top of it, like time management.
- What’s your dream job right now? My dream job is probably software developer, software engineer.
- What do you think future you might say to you right now? He’d probably tell me to stop sleeping late and start doing my work earlier.
- What would you say to your past self? GCSE like, you don’t even have to worry about it, everything will be fine eventually.
- What are you most looking forward to at Ada and what do you hope to achieve at the end of your two years? I’m most looking forward to the industry placement in year 13 and I’m hoping to achieve a place on student voice.
Sharon John
- Introduction: My name is Sharon John. It is the 13th of November. I am currently studying T Levels.
- What is your biggest goal right now? My biggest goal right now is to learn how to properly code and not get behind my peers and that’s it.
- Is there anything you are nervous about or struggling with at the moment? I’m currently struggling or let’s just say I’m nervous about my mocks, which are in two weeks, and I haven’t started properly revising because I haven’t got the time. I have a lot of homework and I’ve still got three assignments due this weekend.
- What is your dream job right now? Currently, I’m trying to be more interested in software development and engineering.
- What do you think your future you might say to you right now? I think my future me would say that I should be more proud of myself and that I should not give up.
- What would you say to your past self? Revise more and then don’t give up.
- What are you most looking forward to at Ada and what do you hope to achieve at the end of your two years? I look forward to the ESP part of year 12 and by the end of two years I hope to achieve more skills and more experience in this current field.
