This year’s DigiFest was a HUGE success: at the career carousel the students were so keen to hear from our industry partners about their career journeys into tech. The focus was to show the students how the 6th form pathways at Ada are aligned with different job requirements in the tech industry. Thank you so much to our experts for your time, explaining what your role is and how you got there. And later on everyone enjoyed meeting Mario & Pikachu – who were also hanging out in the Ada sports hall that had been transformed into a huge arcade and gaming area for our visitors. It was an amazing atmosphere, new connections were made, the free Pic ‘n Mix stall and drinks station offered treats and VR, arcade games, PlayStation were in constant use. A special thanks to all our Ada helpers from our Student Voice team who looked after our guests, shared their experiences about Ada, helped set up and tidy and were as always so helpful and supportive throughout the day – we couldn’t do DigiFest without you! And to all the offer holders: we loved meeting you and can’t wait to see you back on campus for enrolment day on August 21st!
