About the Role 

We’re looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented Tech Consultant Apprentice to join the Attraqt team.  This is a full time, three year fixed-term apprenticeship with the potential for a permanent role at the end of it.  

You will spend the 1st year in the Customer Support department where you will be introduced to the Attraqt suite of products and customers. Here you will receive first hand experience in identifying & troubleshooting issues faced by customers while learning about the inner workings of the Attraqt suit of products and services. 

The next 2 years will be spent in the Technical Consultant team. Here you will work with experienced consultants across pre-sales, onboarding, go-live and throughout customer lifetime. 

Through out the 3 years you will spend 80% of your time working along side experienced colleagues, learning relevant, valuable skills, contributing to exciting client projects at the leading-edge of marketing technology. The remaining 20% of your time you’ll follow an established apprenticeship programme run by our partner, Ada College, graduating after three years with a BSC Degree in Digital and Technology Solutions. 

Your responsibilities 

Customer Support: 

  • Triage new tickets within targeted time frame, ensuring urgent/important issues are flagged with the appropriate channels and routed to the correct team 

  • Answer customer phone calls and participate in internal escalation calls  

  • Basic technical troubleshooting  

  • Answer questions and provide relevant links to knowledge base articles 

  • Action/manage routine support change requests (e.g. making minor configuration changes or working with dev teams to implement code changes)  

  • Access requests – user management and troubleshooting  

  • Manage capacity planning requests for sales and load testing 

  • Assist with customer on-boarding process and participate in customer go-lives  

  • Customer off-boarding administration and systems housekeeping 

  • Write, edit, and revise knowledge base articles 

Technical Consulting: 

  • Deliver market leading projects to the world’s leading online retailers 

  • Drive successful customer implementations 

  • Meet with customers to gather and analyse requirements 

  • Solution and data architecture design 

  • Advise on best practice and provide product expertise for our customers teams 

  • Prepare and support clients during test & go-live transition periods 

  • Manage client relationships and our touch points with customers and internal teams 

  • Client facing and internal technical documentation of solutions 

  • Provide on-going guidance, advice and optimisation to clients on how best to maximise value from our products 

  • Deliver training to business and technical users 

You’ll also be...

  • Following an established apprenticeship programme with Ada College - a centre of excellence for advanced digital skills  
  • Learning and studying as part of a block-release cycle: 6 weeks with employer, 1 week at Ada, for the duration of the programme. During learning weeks you’ll need to attend Ada’s Whitechapel campus in East London. 
  • Assigned your own personal coach and support officer, as well as a manager dedicated to helping you succeed 

Required Skills & Experience 

‘A’ Levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above (or equivalent), ideally in Maths, Technology, Engineering or Science-related subjects, or 260 UCAS points (equivalent to two Cs and one B at A level (excludes General Studies). Or 5 Highers from your 5th year at school, if Scottish. 

5 GCSEs grades A* to C (or new grades 4-9), including Maths, Grade B or above, and English Language, Grade C or above 

Desirable Skills & Experience 

We’re happy to consider people with no prior experience.  The following may be useful, but is not a prerequisite 

  • Evidence of how you enjoy of working with technology 
  • Computer literate - some familiarity with either PC or Mac hardware/software. Coding experience, knowledge of Web APIs, data or databases a plus. 
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems 
  • Good attention to detail  
  • Great service orientation 
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, especially in the area of eCommerce and/or SaaS.
