Ada’s tech apprenticeships blend real-world learning with academic rigour

How You’ll Learn

Flexible, Blended & Work-Focused.

Our delivery model is designed to fit around full-time employment, combining practical, on-the-job experience with high-quality academic learning.

Blended Learning That Works

Apprentices spend 80% of their time in the workplace and 20% learning with Ada, through a blended approach that mixes in-person learning, virtual sessions, and self-paced study. This ensures you can immediately apply new skills in your day-to-day role while building strong academic foundations.

Launchpad

Hit the Ground Running

Your journey begins with an intensive 5-week, full-time Launchpad training. This immersive experience equips you with essential skills to add value to your employer from day one.

Block Release Structure

Following Launchpad, you’ll follow a block release schedule:

4–8 weeks in the workplace

1 week back at Ada for focused study

This structure continues throughout the apprenticeship, balancing real-world application with guided learning.

Online Learning for Maximum Flexibility

To support diverse learning styles and busy schedules, the programme also includes:

Online sessions led by industry experts

Interactive virtual or in-person classes that encourage collaboration

A mix of live teaching, self-paced learning, and practical assignments for a complete learning experience

Assessments & Portfolio Development

Progress is tracked through formative assessments, and you’ll build a professional portfolio showcasing your skills, achievements, and real-world impact.

Pathway to a Full Degree

Our Foundation Degree apprenticeships programmes run over two years. On completion, you can continue your journey with a top-up to a full BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions in just 14–16 additional months, giving you the flexibility to grow at your own pace.

Fully Funded and Employer-Focused

This programme is eligible for government funding, helping employers reduce training costs. It’s also tailored to meet industry needs, allowing businesses to close skills gaps and build future-ready teams.
